BARBARA BURROWS
Barbara Ann Burrows of Kincardine passed away on Monday, May 5, 2025, at Huron Shores Hospice in Tiverton, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Survived by her loving husband of 69 years Ronald Burrows, and their four sons: Daniel (Pam), Dennis (Donna), Derrick (Karen) and Michael (Julie). Barbara will be greatly missed by her grandchildren: Dale, Jeff, Shawn, Andrew, Jason, Amy, Danielle, Kelsey, Ashlea, Corey, Tre and Devon, and her great-grandchildren: Henry, Oliver, Logan, Illyanna, Selena, Eliah, Coen, Isabel, and Aubree.
Beloved sister of Helen, Susan, Rodger, and Robin.
Predeceased by her brother Arthur Jr., and parents Arthur and Mary (née Pettigrew) Campbell.
Barbara was born July 12, 1939 in Kincardine to Arthur and Mary Campbell. Ronald and Barbara married young and settled in Oakville, where they began raising their family. They returned to their hometown of Kincardine to operate Burrows Sports and then Presto-Crest. Barbara was a hard-working partner in the successful operation of these businesses. She enjoyed travelling, golf, politics, and having coffee with friends and family.
Barbara was known for her strong will and the love and support for her family. She was a big supporter of her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting activities, attending many of their events over the years.

Friends and relatives are invited to a memorial visitation from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home in Kincardine. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 16, 2025, also at the funeral home, with Rev. Richard Marne officiating and a reception to follow.
