Daniel “Dan” McLean Surridge passed away at home on April 27, 2025, at the age of 69.
Special lifelong friend to June Craddock.
Loving father of Cory Craddock and step-father to Kristy Craddock (Steve Barry) and Kyle Craddock (Alicia Sylvest).
Proud grandfather of Kyrstin Borth (Josh), Joel Craddock, Jasmine Craddock, Tyler Barry, Brayden Craddock and Felix Craddock, and great-grandfather to Drew Borth.
Dear brother of Darrell Surridge (Sandra) and Dennis McKeeman (Joyce Craddock). Beloved uncle of Shawn Nelson (Jaime), Spencer Surridge and Luc Turcotte (Selena Cassidy).
Predeceased by his parents, Mac and Clara.
Dan was born at the Kincardine hospital on Nov. 24, 1955, and spent his whole life in Tiverton. He was a hard-working member of LiUNA Local union 1059. Dan was an avid outdoorsman. He loved fishing, ice fishing and bird watching. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and those he met along the way.
A celebration of Dan’s Life will be held in the Knox Presbyterian Church “Activity Room”, 75 Main Street, Tiverton, from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2025..
If so desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association or a charity of choice, would be appreciate by Dan’s family.
