Employees of TownePlace Suites by Marriott will celebrate hosting the first blood donation event at their Kincardine location by donating blood together on Wednesday, July 10.
Canadian Blood Services is a not-for-profit charitable organization, providing blood, plasma and stem cells for patients on behalf of all provincial and territorial governments except Quebec.
This event, held in partnership with Canadian Blood Services, is a fun way to share with others the importance of their commitment and support of blood donor centres. The public is invited to come and donate blood from 1:30 to 7:30 p.m.at the new Kincardine Donor Centre, 19 Millenium Way, Kincardine.
Locally 150 donors are needed to support local patients. To book an appointment, use the GiveBlood app or visit www.blood.ca. Those with appointments are encouraged to keep them and, if possible, to bring a friend or family member to donate as well.
