The Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation is asking the County of Bruce to consider contributing $1.5 million to the campaign that’s currently underway to raise funds for the hospital’s redevelopment.
That project now includes an MRI machine, which, according to the letter sent by Graham Mahood, co-chair of the capital campaign committee, to the county, “moves the foundation’s fundraising goal effectively from $12 million to $18 million.” The $1.5 amounts to 25 per cent of the $6 million MRI cost.
