The Bulldogs are getting close to setting their roster for this coming season. They have one win and 3 losses so far and have been playing a lot of new young players in their exhibition games.
They lost a pair of games to Goderich 7-2 and 4-3. Scoring for Kincardine in those games was Wilson Shipp, Ethan Smith, Carter Servais, Kyle Dolmage and Liam Colhoun, who is off to a fast start in Exhibition games.
The Bulldogs shutout Exeter 3-0 at home with Carter Servias scoring twice and 16 -year -old Caleb Bowler chipping in the other goal.
They lost 6-3 to Walkerton in Port Elgin with Nolan MacKinnon. Liam Colhoun and Nolan Janes scored for the Bulldogs.
In the first 4 games, the Bulldogs have used a few different goalies but do not have one signed yet. Both goalies from last year have moved on to other teams. Joshua Jacklin has been traded to Mitchell. Ryan Tanner has signed in Fort Francis.
Nolan MacKinnon from Kincardine has come back to Kincardine to play after playing last year in Goderich.
The Bulldogs are hosting a mini tournament this weekend with 4 teams. Kincardine plays Mount Forest at 10 a.m. Exeter plays Wellesley at 12:15 and Mount Forest at 3:30. Kincardine will then play Wellesley at 5:45.
In past years, there has been more than one 16-year-old that can make your team and this year no exception, with many minors competing for one spot.
Jordan Moulton is off to a good start in Stratford, scoring 2 goals in their first four exhibition games.
