The Township of Ignace has voted in favour of being a willing host for the Nuclear Waste Management Organization’s (NWMO) proposed deep geological repository (DGR). The township’s council held a special meeting of council on July 10, to hear the results of the community vote in the Willingness Ad Hoc Committee’s report.(By Pauline Kerr)
