Huron United Football Club (HUFC) triumphed over third seeded Stratford Home Farm SCFC in the first round of the playoffs on Tuesday, Sept. 5. From the opening whistle, it was evident that
Huron United came to play. Their strong passing and impeccable ball retention on the turf surface gave them an early advantage. Wiegersma’s precise cross found Drew Cobean, who executed a textbook header to setting up Adam Carty for a goal, giving HUFC a 1-0 lead.
