County Council endorses move to recognize Bruce Rd. 19 as ‘Highway for Peace’

Bill Streeter, described by Deputy Warden Luke Charbonneau (Saugeen Shores) as the “dean of all things historical in Saugeen Shores,” has asked Bruce County council to recognize the 160th Bruce Battalion by naming Bruce Road 19 between Walkerton and Chesley as the “Highway for Peace.” (By Pauline Kerr)
