County announces hazardous waste collection dates

Bruce County has released its 2021 event schedule for the annual household hazardous waste collection program.

While residents of Bruce County are welcome to attend any of the event locations, the Municipality of Kincardine will be accepting household hazardous waste at the Kincardine Public Works yard, located at 140 Valentine Avenue, Kincardine, on Saturday, May 8 and Saturday, Aug. 7. Both events will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Acceptable hazardous waste items include acids, aerosols, automotive, batteries, caustic compounds, paint, pesticides and many others.
