Community grieving loss of Kincardine champion, volunteer and councillor

Kincardine resident, councillor and community supporter, Doug Kennedy, passed away Aug. 15 after a long battle with cancer. Kennedy was well-known to many, not just through sports, but in local politics and numerous committees. He threw his hat into the political ring in 2018, becoming councillor-at-large and Ward 1 councillor in 2022, serving nearly six years. (By Liz Small)
