The Kincardine Rotary Club hosted their Easter Egg Hunt in Victoria Park last Saturday. Kids of all ages enjoyed searching for eggs in piles of straw, enjoyed visits with the Easter Bunny and even got a chance to sit in a fire truck. (Liz Small photo)

 It’s pizza time!
Grade five students at Huron Heights Public School were treated to a pizza lunch on Friday, April 4. The class, taught by Ms Ryan, were awarded the lunchtime treat by participating in the Inclusive Education Pizza Party, held each February. Haley Barton, communications and marketing co-ordinator at Community Living Kincardine and District (CKLD), said the class came up with a number of different ideas to ensure their classroom was inclusive and accessible. They included an ASL course, collaborative art project, creating a quiet lunch area and an ongoing suggestion box. Pictured is the class accepting their award from CKLD. (Liz Small photo)
