Building a strong foundation that helps to encourage empathy in youth

(By Liz Small) Students in a Grade 3/4 French Immersion class at St. Anthony’s in Kincardine, have had the opportunity to learn more than the 3-Rs. They’ve been part
of a unique experience, entitled “Roots of Empathy”, a program designed to foster empathy – the ability to understand how another person feels – with the goal
of developing empathy at an early age.
