A made-in-Huron-Kinloss compromise has allowed Bruce County council to pass its development charges bylaw. Bruce County Council has passed an amended motion that will see the phased-in implementation of development charges over the next eight years, as proposed by County Coun. Don Murray, Huron- Kinloss. After months of discussion and sending the proposed bylaw back to staff for additional work, Bruce County council finally passed the DC bylaw at the Nov. 16 meeting. (By Pauline Kerr)
