MURRAY JOHNSON
Murray Leighton Johnson of Kincardine passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2021, in his 81st year.
Murray leaves to mourn his wife of 58 years, Jean (née Geddes); and sons Mark (Sheri), of Olds, Alberta; and Jeff (Jackie), of Georgetown, Ontario.
Loving grandfather of his four granddaughters: Abbey, Halley, Maggey and Faith.
Also survived by brothers Robert and Brian, and sisters Margaret Hedley, Lillian Cottrill, Leigh Remington and Cathy Tang; and sisters-in-law Geraldine Johnston and Marian Geddes.
He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Predeceased by his parents, Willard and Frances (née Brown), brother Donald and sister Anne.
Murray farmed most of his life on the Northline in Kincardine Township. He ran a dairy operation for 20 years and later raised registered Texas Longhorn cattle. Murray was always available to lend a helping hand and liked nothing better than sitting down and reminiscing.
According to his wishes, cremation has taken place.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
