Mark your calendars for this year’s Kincardine Scottish Festival and Highland Games, taking place July 7 to 9, 2023 at Victoria Park in downtown Kincardine. This marks the 24th anniversary of the event and will still be held in Victoria Park, despite the downtown construction. The traditional clan parade will not be held, but patrons are invited to partake in Scottish-themed vendors and competitions. Those attending are also encouraged to use the shuttle bus service to access the downtown core.
Friday night’s entertainment includes AbbaMania (ABBA tribute band). Canadian rock band Glass Tiger will headline Saturday evening. The weekend also includes performances by Madison Violet, The Mudmen, The Screaming Orphans, Boiler Beach, 21&9, The Thogs and more.
Family Day will be Sunday, July 9, offering a children’s program with games and activities accompanied by a full day of live music. Children 12 and under are free.
