As usual, Bruce County residents have risen to the call for local support.
100 People Who Share Bruce County will start its third year of fundraising for local causes on April 29 at 7 p.m. at Ainsdale Golf Course. The one-hour meeting includes a presentation from the previous winner, three five-minute presentations from nominees drawn from 10 current charities in need, a voting session and a $100 tax-deductible cheque forwarded by each member to the winning charity.
A dinner, at a nominal cost, is available before the meeting.
Previous winners include Women’s House Serving Bruce and Grey, Huron Shores Hospice, WES for Youth, Bruce Botanical Food Gardens, Kincardine Kinetic Knights Team 781 and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kincardine.
