Summer of fun
Kincardine and area saw the return of an action-packed, successful summer, thanks in part to completion of the downtown, return of many popular events and spectacular weather. While many can agree that the summer months pass quickly, visitors and residents alike took advantage of it, cooling off at the beach or the splash pad, enjoying music like pipes, big band, rock and blues, taking part in the cruise nights, Canada Day festivities and the Bruce Power Funfest. There really was something for everyone. Merchants said, overall, business was up, as thousands flocked to the area. (Liz Small photos)
