NICHOLAS WOOD

Nicholas Stanley Wood of Hanover passed away unexpectedly as a result of a workplace accident on Friday, May 23, 2025. He was 37.
Beloved father of Mason and Camryn and dear son of Christine. Nicholas will be missed by his aunts Jennifer (John) Webb of Kincardine and Margaret (Kevin) Breen of Florida, cousins Natalie (Joe), Rachel, Vanessa (Mike), Jordan (Rebecca), and their children Blake, Nolan, Owen, Levi, and Riley.
Predeceased by his grandparents Stanley and Joan Wood.
Nicholas loved spending time with his children riding the dirt bikes or playing outside around the property. He loved the outdoors and country life. An avid hunter, he especially loved turkey hunting, and he looked forward to taking Mason and Camryn hunting in the future. Nicholas also enjoyed Air Soft in his spare time. He always took pride in his jobs and had a good work ethic. In his teens he was an Army Cadet and a member of the Forest Pipe Band. Occasionally he participated in the Kincardine Mass Bands parade. Nicholas was easily loved by those who met and knew him, and he had very strong and loyal friendships in all aspects of his life.
Memorial visitation for Nicholas will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home in Kincardine. A celebration of life will be held afterwards from 1 to 3 p.m. at Nicholas and Christine’s home.
