Remembering those who fought and gave up their lives for Canada

Despite rain and wind, a ceremony marking the anniversary of the battle of Vimy Ridge went ahead as planned on Thursday, April 9 at the Kincardine Cemetery. Members of the Kincardine Legion raised the Legion and Canadian flags, before returning them to half-mast in honour of lives lost during the battle of Vimy Ridge on  April 9, 1917. (Liz Small photo)
The hunt is on!
Despite the wind and rain, nearly 200 enthusiastic kids and their families attended the annual Easter Egg hunt at Victoria Park on Saturday, April 4. The event is organized by the Kincardine Rotary Club and the Kincardine Agricultural Society. (Contributed photo)
