The third annual Kincardine Amazing Race kicked off at the Bruce Avenue soccer fields on July 20. Twenty-one teams raised close to $3,000 to pay for improvements to Stonehaven Community Park. The event was organized by Amanda Saxton (standing on the far left), with the help of husband Anthony and volunteers. Teams were challenged to follow clues to 14 different stations before completing the route at Victoria Park. Congratulations to the two-person team of Matt Minty and Jacob Bishop, who were the first to finish the race, and family team winners Jeff, Dashka, Audrey and Tristan Steven.
