JASON TROKE
Jason Russell Troke, passed away suddenly, on Friday, February 24th, 2023, at age 44.
Remembered as a loving Dad to son Jaydon and his mother Tina.
Cherished son of Roger and Sally (née Dunsmoor) Troke.
Sadly missed by brother Shawn (Krista) Troke and nephews Nathan and Jordan.
Many memories of Jason will remain with his aunts, Lynne, Debbie (John), Carol, Beverley (Wayne) and Cathy, uncles David (Val), Paul (Carol), cousins and friends.
Predeceased by his grandparents, Norman and Norma Dunsmoor, Betty & Lorne Loree and uncles Douglas, Gary and Kenny.
First and foremost, Jason was a loving father to his only son Jaydon. He was a natural, gifted athlete who excelled at any sport he tried: soccer, bowling, baseball, golf, fishing and hiking.
He also had a talent for music and the arts. To calm himself he would sit and sketch. He danced like a pro and was self-taught on the drums. His passion for nature took him to the river where he and Jaydon would hunt morel mushrooms, turtles, salamanders, frogs and other wildlife to bring up the hill to the house.
Those who drywalled along side him noted his knack for it and the artistry of his textured ceilings.
Visitation took place at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine on Saturday, March 4th, 2023 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Final resting place Kincardine Cemetery.
Memorial donations to an Education Fund for Jaydon’s continuing studies or the Homewood Health Centre appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
