Beloved wife of Mervin Catto.
Dear mother of Mike (Kim) Catto, of Tiverton; and John (
Sadly missed by sisters Catherine (Harry) Ruetz, of North Bruce; and Jean (Norm) Campbell, of Port Elgin; as well as by brother Bruce (Grace) McPherson, of Inverhuron. Also survived by her son-in-law Scott McPherson, of Kincardine; and sister-in-law Grace McPherson, of R. R. 1, Tiverton.
Predeceased by her parents Alexander and Elizabeth Pearl (née Vance) McPherson; daughter Brenda McPherson; sister Eva Begg; brothers Stuart, Eoin and Angus McPherson; granddaughter Melissa McPherson in infancy; as well as brothers-in-law Elgin Currie and Grant Begg.

Doreen Lillian Reed (nee Winterburn) died at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine on Monday, September 7, 2009; formerly of Paris, in her 84th year; beloved wife of the late William (2007); loved mother of William (Marie) Ashworth of Toronto, Wendy (Hugh) Jones of Kincardine and Judy (David) Feenstra of Point Clark; cherished grandmother of Adam (Tanya) and Ben (Claudine) Jones, Nathan Haycock (Mitzi), Nikki Ashworth and Santana Feenstra; predeceased by her sister Pat Winterburn.
Friends will be received at the Wm. KIPP FUNERAL HOME, 184 Grand River Street North, Paris on Wednesday September 9, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 10, at 1:30 p.m. Reverend George Elson officiating.
Cremation followed by interment in Paris Cemetery.
A Legion service under the auspices of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 29, Paris on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. from the funeral home.

Co-founder and part owner of Kincardine Machine and Tool Ltd. (from 1981 – 1989) and an employee at Bruce Nuclear Power Development since 1976, Bill was a man of many talents including being an avid outdoorsman and photographer.
